On April 21, Talent Tech Labs hosted an invite-only trade mission and retreat called Talent Tech Transatlantic, the first of its kind. To say it was a success is an understatement. Approximately 150 startup founders, investors, Heads of Corporate Talent Acquisition, and other TA leaders came together at Midtown Loft, a gorgeous private event space on Manhattan’s bustling 5th Avenue. We want to extend our gratitude to our sponsors: TalentObjects, Becker LLC, Recruiting Daily, Precision Global Consulting, and Withum.

Attendees had a firsthand look at the most innovative and influential international rec-tech startups serving the US market.

Brian Delle Donne, President of Talent Tech Labs welcomed attendees and provided an overview of what was in store. Attendees had the chance to learn from industry thought leaders, discover products, validate emerging technologies, expand their networks by engaging with other like-minded Talent Acquisition professionals, and more!

The Startup Expo

The Startup Expo featured 19 Talent Acquisition Technologies from 13 different countries (Ireland, India, Netherlands, England, Canada, Bulgaria, Israel, Wales, Scotland, Austria, Australia, Russia, and the United States) within 4 verticals (Source, Engage, Select, Hire) and 9 sub-verticals (Candidate Relationship Management, Temporary Labor Marketplace, Video Interviewing, Matching Systems, Job Marketing & Distribution, ATS – Corporations, Referral Tools, Freelance Management Systems, and Interviewing Tools).

“Had a fantastic time meeting talent acquisition leaders, lots of insights from Talent Tech Labs here as well. We just had a tremendous investment round for the last two hours. We’re pretty exhausted, but it’s been quite fun and we’ve learned a lot, and we hope to get on stage to share some sample videos and have even more fun.”

Keynote Presentation

Ian Bailie, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and People Planning Operations at Cisco was able to share his passion about People Analytics and how Cisco uses data to transform the employee experience.
