KEYNOTE PRESENTATION

Ten-X’s Chief People Officer, Chris Galy unpacked the secret sauce for great Candidate Experience – and the problems that get in the way – by leveraging his team’s proprietary Design Thinking model in an interactive session. Nearly a dozen staff members from Ten-X’s TA department assisted with what turned out to be a highly engaging and thought-proving segue into TTL’s Startup Expo and funding round exercise.

STARTUP EXPO

Similar to TTL’s prior event Talent Tech Transatlantic, 14 companies exhibited their products at NEXT within three Ecosystem verticals critical to Candidate Experience (Source, Engage, and Select) and represented seven key sub-verticals (Career Advice & Coaching, Candidate Relationship Management, Brand Creation & Management, Employer Reviews, Social Networks, Job Marketing & Distribution, and Behavior Assessments).

Alex Golimbievsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Hire360 said, “the Talent Tech Labs NEXT Conference was a spectacular experience. Not only did we get great exposure to executives in the Talent Acquisition space, but we also got to connect with some of the most innovative and disruptive new players in the industry. We look forward to the next one!”

FUNDING WITH NEXTmessage

Talent Tech Labs debuted a proprietary, new, SMS-based event-engagement tool which enabled attendees to transfer virtual “play money” to the participating startups of their choice. Each guest began the “funding round” session with $10,000 in NEXTbucks – the name of TTL’s conceptual cryptocurrency – and they were encouraged to fund only the companies that they would actually invest in as part of their own organization’s tech stack. This exercise was monumental in tracking the buyer’s investment behavior – data which TTL will include in a report early next year.

Over 100 HR Tech Buyers from renowned companies such as Nike, PWC, Intuit, Visa, LinkedIn, PWC, Crowe Horwath, among others many others, participated in the event . Each buyer then voted for their favored Technology company with their NextBucks. The Winner, Avrio AI, followed closely behind by runners-up Hire360,  were then invited on stage to present their recruitment technology solution to an audience of over 100 Talent Acquisition executives during the third act of the day’s program.

According to Nachi Junankar, CEO and Founder of winning company Avrio AI, Inc. “ NEXT, just like all other TTL events are highly valuable for companies like ours, because of direct, high-value conversations with some of the top HR Tech buyers in the world. We are grateful to be voted first, among so many great companies run by great people. I am grateful for all the hard work that the TTL team has put into this event.”
