Online recruitment platform Job.com acquired blockchain startup Talenting, which allows data on jobs, résumés and credentials to be stored in an immutable ledger.
“Blockchain has always been a part of the Job.com vision and adding Talenting to our roster will greatly expand our abilities from end-to-end,” said Arran Steward, Job.com co-founder and chief visionary officer.
Talenting was founded in 2018 by Bill Inman, Dan Austin, Vinay Kumar, Sal Pazhoor and Shankar Ramalingam. They aimed to create a platform where workers have more control over their employment data.
The deal is complete and Job.com will integrate Talenting’s features into its platform over the coming months.
