Top Echelon Software announced today it acquired CATS Software, a Minneapolis-based provider of applicant tracking software for recruiters. CATS serves customers from one-person recruitment shops to recruiters at Fortune 500 operations. Its clients include more than 1,800 companies in more than 50 countries.
“We look forward to the opportunity that this merger offers to provide even more value to our customers in the form of additional features and enhanced functionality,” Top Echelon CEO Mark Demaree said.
Top Echelon, based in Canton, Ohio, also provides an applicant tracking system and offers split-placement network software. The company was founded in 1988 as a split-placement network for recruiters.
With the acquisition, Top Echelon aims to give CATS customers the opportunity to look into its Top Echelon Network of search firms.
