Talent Tech Ecosystem

We define Talent Acquisition Technology pretty clearly in our Ecosystem. It’s a surprisingly broad category, even under our definition. It can be both candidate and employer facing, and often does. It falls into four separate stages: Source, Engage, Select, Hire. Beyond this, it gets pretty granular with over 34 subcategories.

Greenhouse Secures $50M Growth Investment

Greenhouse announced it has raised $50 million in Series D funding from Riverwood Capital. Greenhouse will use this investment to meet growing demand for its platform globally and expand its category-leading capabilities in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, hiring analytics, and diversity and inclusion. Founded in 2012, Greenhouse has now raised more than $110 million.

CodeFights Changes Name to CodeSignal, Adds Scoring System for Developers

CodeFights is now CodeSignal. If you don’t know CodeFights, the site launched back in 2014 as a platform for developers to compete in coding competitions. Along with the new name comes a scoring system the company calls Coding Score. Similar to a credit score, this system is put in place to tag developers with an overall grade compared to peers. The Coding Score also serves as a way for employers to find the best talent. Scores range from 300 to 850.

SmashFly Announces UK and EU Expansion

SmashFly Technologies announced its global expansion with a new strategic hub in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The sales, marketing, engineering, and operations center will enable SmashFly to support its rapidly growing global customer base and accelerate the development of new product features, specifically around artificial intelligence and support for GDPR compliance.
